The Kingdom Of God

11 They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,

12 so that all men may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

--Psalm 145: 11 - 13

GOD'S KINGDOM IS

  • A Glorious Kingdom (Verses 11 & 12)
  • A Powerful Kingdom (Verse 11)
  • An Eternal Kingdom ( Verse 13)

In our world today, there is a conflict between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. The kingdom of darkness tries desperately to overcome the Kingdom of Light. However God is the victor. In Colossians 2: 13 - 15 ("When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."), Christ completely vanquished Satan and his hosts when He died on the cross and rose again. As children in God's family, and subjects in God's Kingdom, we share in that victory!
